It's Monday, which means that the weekend box office totals are out. Check out the top 12 movies in the country below, along with how much money they pulled in over the weekend.
1. Fool's Gold - $21,589,295
2. Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins - $16,207,730
3. Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour - $10,295,922
4. The Eye - $6,528,301
5. Juno - $5,601,149
6. 27 Dresses - $5,409,671
7. The Bucket List - $5,277,433
8. Rambo - $4,482,012
9. Meet the Spartans - $4,110,561
10. There Will Be Blood - $3,978,322
11. Untraceable - $3,475,325
12. Cloverfield - $2,756,462
Wow, I can't believe how many bad movies are on this list! Fool's Gold? The Eye? Meet the Spartans? However, the fact that Paris Hilton's The Hottie and the Nottie debuted at number 59, bringing in a grand total of $27,696 (and averaging only $249 per theater) gives me hope that Americans still have some standards of taste. Also worth mentioning is the disappointing debut of Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show, which placed at number 24 after making only $464,170.
