Despite receiving a load of negative reviews, Jumper took the top spot this weekend, taking in $31.7 million from Friday to Monday. However, this comes nowhere near last President Day's number one movie, Ghost Rider, which took in $52 million.

Also, I guess people were romanced-out from Valentine's Day because Definitely, Maybe, this week's new romantic comedy, debuted at number 5 and last week's number one movie, Fool's Gold, dropped to number 4.

Lastly, it is worth mentioning the staying power of the Hannah Montana movie, which was supposed to be running for only one week but which has been extended indefinitely. This appears to be a smart move, since the movie has grossed over $59 million in three weeks.
